COLD-PRESSED MORINGA OIL
Moringa seeds contain a highly nutritive, lightweight oil that compliments the skin's natural sebum to nourish dry skin, restoring balance, glow, texture, and tone, outperforming argan, jojoba, and shea.
Benefits & Uses of Moringa Oil
Moisturizes Dry Skin
Applying moringa oil to your skin unlocks its moisturizing and emollient properties, which can help the skin retain moisture and prevent inflammation or flaking. This oil is also a purifying substance, thanks to its antibacterial nature, helping protect the skin against environmental and allergenic substances, as well as pathogens. The behenic acid in this oil helps protect the skin from damage.
Hair Care
Moringa oil can stimulate the growth of hair, while also protecting against hair loss. The emollient, antioxidant, and antibacterial properties of the oil are able to protect the scalp and keep it moisturized. Furthermore, the rich supply of fatty acids can improve the shine and luster of your hair.
Promotes Sleep
When it comes to sleep problems, people often turn to moringa oil for its soothing properties. The behenic acid in this oil is known to relax the body, while other active and aromatic compounds can help relax the muscles and promote a sense of calm. The oil can be used in aromatherapy or topically applied to the chest or temples for these sedative effects.

Deeper Dive:
- 1. Rich in Antioxidants:
Extra virgin olive oil is a rich source of antioxidants, including polyphenols and vitamin E. Antioxidants play a crucial role in protecting our skin from damage caused by free radicals, which are unstable molecules that contribute to premature aging and skin disorders. By neutralizing these harmful molecules, the antioxidants in olive oil help to combat oxidative stress and promote a youthful and vibrant complexion.
2. Moisturizing and Nourishing:
One of the remarkable features of extra virgin olive oil is its ability to deeply moisturize and nourish the skin. The oil contains a high concentration of monounsaturated fats, which are essential for maintaining the skin's natural moisture barrier. This helps to prevent moisture loss, keeping the skin hydrated and supple. Additionally, the vitamin E content in olive oil acts as an emollient, soothing dry and irritated skin and leaving it soft and smooth.
3. Anti-Inflammatory Properties:
Studies have shown that extra virgin olive oil possesses potent anti-inflammatory properties. Chronic inflammation is a common underlying factor in various skin conditions, such as acne, eczema, and psoriasis. The polyphenols found in olive oil help to reduce inflammation in the skin, alleviating redness, swelling, and discomfort. Regular application of olive oil can aid in calming irritated skin and promoting a healthier complexion.
4. Anti-Aging Effects:
As we age, our skin undergoes natural changes, including the loss of elasticity and the formation of fine lines and wrinkles. The antioxidants present in extra virgin olive oil can help combat the signs of aging. By neutralizing free radicals and reducing oxidative stress, olive oil helps to preserve collagen and elastin, the proteins responsible for maintaining the skin's structure and elasticity. This can lead to a reduction in the appearance of wrinkles and promote a more youthful complexion.
5. Protective Barrier:
The lipid profile of extra virgin olive oil closely resembles that of our skin's natural sebum, the oily substance produced by our sebaceous glands. Applying olive oil topically can help strengthen the skin's protective barrier, reinforcing its natural defenses against environmental aggressors. This protective barrier function aids in reducing moisture loss, preventing skin infections, and maintaining a healthy pH balance.
Extra virgin olive oil is not only a staple in the culinary world but also a powerful ally in skincare. Its rich antioxidant content, moisturizing properties, anti-inflammatory effects, anti-aging benefits, and protective barrier function make it a valuable addition to any skincare routine. As with any skincare product, it's important to choose high-quality, organic, and extra virgin olive oil to reap the maximum benefits. Embrace the wonders of this natural treasure and let your skin enjoy the nourishing and revitalizing effects of extra virgin olive oil.

Deeper Dive - Benefits of Grapeseed Oil
While we might associate grapeseed oil with cooking or skincare, it has an incredible amount of benefits for the hair as well. Grapeseed oil is a valuable addition to any hair care routine. It helps moisturize the scalp, alleviating dandruff and soothing irritation. The oil also works to strengthen the hair shaft and promote a natural shine.
- Helps with hair growth: When it comes to your hair, grapeseed oil is an excellent choice because it contains vitamin E, flavonoids, linoleic acid, and OPCs, all of which are necessary for healthy hair growth and vitality.
- Moisturizing: Grapeseed oil is an excellent natural choice to seal in moisture and hydrate the hair. "Because of its lightweight texture, it won't leave the hair feeling greasy," adds Chambers-Harris. Grapeseed oil is great sealant when used after applying a water-based moisturizer. This oil contains a lower amount of monosaturated lipids (fats that can penetrate the hair strand) and higher amounts of linoleic acid (fats that sit on top of the hair strand). Because of its composition, this oil works as a great sealant.
- Smooths and blocks split ends: When pulled through the hair, it can help tame frizz, or you can just apply to the ends to combat split ends.
- Reduces dandruff: Because of its high content of nutrients and emollient properties, when massaged into the scalp, it can reduce dandruff production by stimulating new, healthy cell growth.
- Strengthens weak or brittle hair: With its high levels of antioxidants, vitamin E, and omegas, it can help strengthen weak or brittle hair and restore shine. Over-processed and dry hair benefits greatly from the grapeseed oil as a deep hydrator, leaving hair feeling moisturized and shiny.
- Reduces hair loss: Applied directly to the scalp, grapeseed oil may prevent the production of a hormone called DHT that causes weakened hair follicles and hair loss," says Nicholson. Adding an essential oil, such as rosemary, to grapeseed oil may also help hair grow back in people who have experienced hair loss or thinning.
- Protects against Free-Radicals: Grapeseed oil has a high amount of phenolic compounds which are antioxidants, and can protect the hair from free-radical damage" .
- Incredibly lightweight: The other advantage that grapeseed oil has over other types of oils for the hair is that it is practically weightless. This means it's a perfect option for those with even the finest, thinnest hair. It doesn't weigh hair down.
- Soothes the scalp: Issues such as flaky, itchy scalp are relieved with the application of grapeseed oil directly on the scalp. The essential fatty acids and nutrients have anti-inflammatory properties that help to nourish and soothe the scalp."
- Can help premature graying: While gray is from a variety of factors including genetics, oxidative stress also plays a role, so having antioxidants directly on the hair could theoretically help protect against premature graying. These are the seeds that contain the most powerful antioxidants. The oil extracted from these seeds contains a compound known as OPC. Countless studies have shown that OPCs are highly potent antioxidants that can help prevent premature aging.

How to Reap the Benefits of Vitamin E Oil for Your Hair, According to Dermatologists
Encourage growth, add hydration, and boost shine with this do-it-all antioxidant.
Vitamin E is a plant-based antioxidant that’s become a mainstay in the beauty aisle thanks to its healing properties. You’ll find it in skincare for moisturizing and reducing inflammation, and it’s a great choice for hair because of how well it can improve the health of your scalp and locks.
The benefits of using vitamin E oil for hair (According to Nichols, MD, a board certified dermatologist.)
This is a versatile ingredient: “Vitamin E oil, when applied to the scalp, acts as a conditioner, helping to hydrate and rejuvenate a dry, flaky scalp. In addition, when applied all over hair, it can help boost shine and prevent hair breakage overall,” says Kim Nichols, M.D., a board-certified dermatologist, cosmetic surgeon, and founding director of NicholsMD in Greenwich, CT. So let’s dive into the top benefits vitamin E oil has for your hair:
✔️ Encourage growth: It can be tough to find a non-prescription product that stimulates hair growth, but vitamin E oil has properties that may help. “Vitamin E oil, because it is an antioxidant, helps reduce oxidative stress in the scalp,” Dr. Nichols says. That’s important because oxidative stress makes it hard for your body to repair any damage, she explains, causing hair follicle cells to break down, potentially leading to hair loss. Vitamin E oil works to nourish your scalp and hair, restoring proper function so your hair grows properly. It also increases blood circulation to the scalp, which aids in overall hair growth, Dr. Nichols notes.
✔️ Soothe dryness: Vitamin E oil is an easy cure for dry and flaky scalps. Just as the oil moisturizes the skin, it similarly conditions, hydrates, and rejuvenates the scalp when applied topically.
✔️ Strengthen hair: Our hair follicles tend to weaken naturally with age and from using chemical products and heat-styling tools. The result: breakage and split ends. To help you avoid that fate, vitamin E oil nurses those damaged hair follicles, making them stronger and healthier, so less prone to breaking.
✔️ Add shine: Dry, brittle, frizzy, or dull hair—thanks, again, to heat, chemicals, and your genetic—can be overcome with vitamin E oil. Over time, the product acts as a protective barrier to hair and gives it the nourishment that it needs to be more lustrous.

Coconut oil is renowned for its moisturizing properties. It contains a high concentration of saturated fats that help to reduce trans epidermal water loss (TEWL).

Health Benefits of Apricot Kernel Oil
There are quite a few notable health benefits of apricot kernel oil, including its ability to moisturize the skin, protect the hair, reduce symptoms of acne, among others.
Moisturizes the Skin
When topically applied, the emollient properties of apricot kernel oil can help exfoliate and moisturize the skin, helping it retain moisture, eliminating patches of dry skin, and relieving inflammatory conditions, such as rosacea, psoriasis, and eczema.
Improves Hair Health
Many people use this oil on their hair and scalp, as it can help strengthen weak hair strands and promote the health of hair follicles. It can reduce the levels of certain chemicals that accumulate in the scalp in response to testosterone, which can slow hair growth and even lead to hair loss. Rubbing this oil into the scalp will also reduce inflammatory conditions on the scalp, such as dandruff.
What is apricot oil?
Apricots are a small stone fruit that contains a kernel (or seed) that is claimed to have powerful healing and beauty powers. It’s a great fruit that’s not only tasty but also rich with nutrients for overall wellness. Apricot oil (Apricot Kernel Oil), often known as apricot kernel oil, is derived from apricot kernels or seeds. When the oil is extracted and cold pressed, it has a chemical composition similar to bitter almond oil. The oil has a light hue and a nice nutty odour, and it is often used in balms, creams, and lotions.
Rich in vitamins
Apart from its humectant properties, apricot oil contains a vitamin that is beneficial to both our skin and our scalps. It contains high levels of vitamin A, which is necessary for cell rejuvenation and collagen activation. It also has a high concentration of vitamin E, which is necessary for scalp health.
Contains fatty acids to keep hair soft and hydrated
Apricot oil, which contains oleic acid, effectively heals hair and scalp problems. Oleic acid, an omega-9 fatty acid, offers vital proteins to hair follicles. The best part is that it makes hair smoother and more supple. Because of the calming effects of oleic acid, many apricot oil users believe that their hair is much simpler to maintain.
Anti-inflammatory for scalp health
It has the ability to soothe a scaly, irritated scalp by entering the surface layer. If you have dandruff, the oil will not treat the problem, but it may help calm due to its anti-inflammatory properties.
Prevents hair loss
It’s high in omega-3 fatty acids, which protect and moisturise the scalp by reducing inflammation, which can cause scalp problems and hair thinning or loss.
Works well with other oils
It may be used on its own to hydrate and nourish the scalp and follicles, but because it is an excellent carrier oil, it can be combined with any other essential oil to help disperse its properties.

5 Hair & Skin Repair Oil
Posted by Karen Wand on Jan 22nd 2025
CRAZY! Kim mentioned that the skin gets really dry during menopause (YES!!!). So, I thought I would give it a try. The first time I used it I could see a VAST difference between my two legs after applying to one. I have now used it for a week and without any exaggeration I feel like I can see my old healthy skin again. I am now using it everywhere. I have struggled with really bad dryness particularly on my legs for so long. Regular (even expensive) lotions just don't do a thing. This is the best product I have ever used on them. And I have tried a bunch. This does what Kim says it does! Thank you Kim!
